Asia-Pacific is home to more than 15 million developers and has one of the fastest-growing developer populations in the world.
The Google Cloud AI Builder Cup, powered by Hack2skill is an open invitation to all of them: start with a problem you understand, build a solution on Google Cloud, and show that something built for a local need can scale to a global one.
The premise is simple. You get a real-world problem, you get to form your team and a few weeks to build something that solves it and finally submit it for evaluation.

Note: This edition is open to working professionals only. Students are not eligible to participate. Eligibility may be verified at any point, and any team or participant found to include a student will be disqualified, including after shortlisting or selection for the finale.

What you'll build
A working prototype that addresses your chosen problem statement. The goal is a functional solution that demonstrates a clear idea in action—not just a pitch deck or a mockup. Crucially, all submissions must leverage Google AI models (like Gemini or Gemma) or be built using agentic platforms (such as Agent Platform, Antigravity, or AI Studio), and they must be deployed on Google Cloud via Cloud Run or Firebase.
